Have you ever wondered how old God is? Or what His middle name is? Or why He chose Mary? Or what He’s good at? Well you’re not alone. Our kids have TONS of questions for Him.

This summer our teens spent eight weeks with our kids. A unique partnership of PRiSM (our student ministry) and Summer Fun Club (our kids ministry) created space for both kids and teens alike to connect with God in a new way.

AWANA: Mayhem and Ministry

I don’t think it’s coincidental that I found my diary from 3rd and 4th grades just weeks before I would be leading an AWANA group of girls at this very same age. I know now how God’s fingers weave their way through our stories, and this felt significant to me.

We see things happening in society that we don’t understand and they impact the way we react and protect our own families. We put up walls around our families and do everything we can to isolate ourselves from society and the problems that we see. We cannot do that in Colorado Springs. Our city needs us. Our children need us.
