What does it mean to live sent?
At Pulpit Rock, we believe that 100% of us have already been SENT into our neighborhoods, workplaces and city. The greatest invitation we have to follow Jesus is to join God in His mission to bring redemption and beauty to a broken world.
Living as Kingdom people means that missions isn’t just for a few of us, it’s for every adult, student and child. That’s what we mean when we say 100% SENT.
There are lots of ways to live SENT! It might look like joining a serve day, connecting with neighbors, giving generously to God’s work around the world, going on a missions trip, praying, serving at a local school. It might look like something God has uniquely wired and formed in you that we haven’t even thought of yet.
At Pulpit Rock, we have lots of ways to invite you into what God is doing. We also want to coach, resource and help you discover the unique ways that YOU have been SENT so you can step into the fullness of this adventure of following Jesus.
Explore some ways our people are living SENT in Colorado Springs and around the world, and JOIN US!

Give
Did you know that in addition to normal giving (to support the operations and ministry of Pulpit Rock Church) we have special designated accounts where 100% of every dollar goes directly towards work in our city and around the world?
In the past 6 years, we’ve given away over $2M in funds through designated giving! That’s in addition to the $130,000+ we will invest this year alone in partner organizations and missionaries from our annual giving budget.
We have designated accounts connected to our current areas of focus and a designated missions account that you can give to support all year long...
100% of every dollar given for a specific purpose goes directly to that organization or ministry. Our regular budget funds things like admin and staff travel on missional trips, so we can ensure that every dollar makes it to the hands of those we are partnering with!
Stories of your Kingdom impact
DHS Kinship Family Celebration
Imagine an event where government, church, individuals, organizations, and local businesses all collaborated to love and spoil people needing some recognition. Seems a bit far-fetched, doesn’t it? That dream was reality at Pulpit Rock Church a few weeks ago. In December, Pulpit Rock was honored to host the DHS Kinship Family Celebration.
SENT | Salvation Army Meal Teams
Several teams from Pulpit Rock serve meals at the Salvation Army shelter every month: “Our small group wanted to find a way to serve, and providing a meal for Salvation Army fit perfectly. We are able to bring our families to serve and grow together. We have enjoyed doing this for over ten years.”
SENT | Klista Bomberger | The MVCS Giving Tree
Klista Bomberger heard of a need in her school and came up with an amazing and super inspiring way to meet it: “I was blown away by the number for families that stepped up and took children off the tree. It is so easy to get caught up in the negativity of the world and forget that God is good and he created goodness, love and kindness.”
Freedom for Fawn
In which Jonathan shares about a night in a Thai club and an encounter with a young girl named Fawn where he came face to face with his deep longing for the Kingdom of God, where the full gospel is realized.
SENT | Donuts on the Deck and Driveway | Biels, Shipps, Stermers
The Shipps, Biels and Stermers collaborated on a Saturday morning to connect with their neighbors: “A group of neighbors who have lived here for 30+ years reminiscing about raising their kids here and talking about what activities they used to do together. They were so excited that the torch has been lit to do these things once again, even now that their own kids are grown and gone.”
SENT | Josh & Rachel Bennett | Halloween Potato Party
Rachel Bennett shares about how their Halloween Potato Party created space to connect with people in their neighborhood: “We moved into our home almost 2 years ago. Over this time, we have met a few neighbors but haven’t necessarily felt like a community. We wanted to provide an opportunity to bring people together.
