1 John

We are called to love. We are commanded to love. So simple. So beautifully simple that anyone can understand it.

Jesus gives beautiful demonstrations of love in action that often befuddled the culture around Him.

We love because we have been loved with a relentless love.

God wants us to obey so we can enjoy the fullness of an unfettered relationship with Him.

We have a tendency of complicating the Gospel, and John reminds us to keep the message simple.

He is not merely an entity up in the sky. His spirit lives, breathes and guides me each and every day.

As I try to live a life of righteousness instead of sin, I will someday be sinless like Him, when He appears.

Despite the unknowns that I approach, the Lord is within me and is guiding my search for truth.
