As women’s ministry transitioned from Bible study at the church to creating IF:Tables in our homes, I felt the Lord was leading me to host an IF:Table. As we have met once a month, I have seen a bond between the ladies as they help each other in times of need. All it took was a leap of faith in what God was asking me to do.
We’re really big on small groups at Pulpit Rock. They are the ideal place to find community. To be known. To grow. To be cared for. To serve and be served. That’s why we’re excited to tell you about some new communities starting at Pulpit Rock!
In today’s society, most boys never learn how to do away with childish things. They eventually become a boy stuck in a man’s body. I am excited to be starting a new study for young men in our community.
We want Pulpit Rock to be a place where college students find it easy to connect, grow and serve. We desire to create even more opportunities for students to connect, find community and grow here within our existing church body.
Last Sunday in PRiSM we celebrated and remembered the sacrifice of Jesus by taking communion as a youth group. As we planned for this special time, there were a few things I wanted to make sure the students grasped.
Our friendships with each other are central to everything we do here at Pulpit Rock. Loving each other flows through everything we do because we value making the world a less lonely place.

This past week I got to see our Pulpit Rock Ask a Moms in action at UCCS. These ladies visit the campus about twice a month to hand out snacks, love, and mom advice to any student that is interested.

Last year in late October I found myself wanting to do something to celebrate Advent. Something other than a chocolate advent calendar or simply waiting until my girls (then 9 months and 2 ½ years old) were “old enough to understand Advent.” That was when a fellow Pulpit Rock mom introduced me to Truth in the Tinsel.
As Christians, we celebrate the first arrival of a man not from our world … Jesus Christ. Return with us this Advent season, as we put ourselves back in the steps of those first followers of God, watching, waiting, wondering.
This has been an extraordinary week in America. There is a lot of fear and anger. In many ways our nation feels more fragmented and divided than it did a week ago. Setting aside political affiliations for a moment, how do we walk as Christ followers in these days? We pray for our nation and ourselves.
