Out Of The Ashes

The Light Will Rise To Bring Hope

On Tuesday evening of the 4th of August, Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, was devastated by a huge explosion. It left behind over 170 people dead, 6,000 injured, quite few people still missing, and over 300,000 people displaced due to the damages.

As you know, we have established six Lighthouses in Lebanon over the past years, two of them are in Beirut.

Since the first day after the explosion, the Lighthouses have been on the go helping people, the needs are overwhelming. Our Lighthouse in Tyre, in partnership with Tyre Church, sent a team on Saturday to clean up and distribute food portions and hygiene kits.

At times I ask myself why God allows so much suffering and sorrow; only to realize as God gives us the opportunity to love people at such times, the light is shinning and God is getting the glory.

We have established a relief fund for Beirut with our partners, The Global Orphan Project, to continue loving people in the many different ways that God is showing us. Would you please keep us in your prayers and support God’s work in whatever way He leads you to?

Thank you.

God bless you.

In Christ, Mohammad
