This Christmas season, we have the opportunity to join with Hope & Home in their Christmas Toy Drive!
Hope & Home is a wonderful organization here in Colorado Springs that trains and actively supports foster families. They focus on showering children, right in our own community, with worth, value, and love during a very difficult time.
The Hope & Home Christmas Toy Drive is a tangible way to participate in local Kingdom work by showing foster kids right here in Colorado Springs that they are loved – the holidays can be a sad and painful time for children in foster care.
You can brighten a child’s Christmas by donating a new, unwrapped toy or gift between now and December 14th. Your gift will be lovingly placed in the Hope & Home Christmas store where foster parents can come and pick the perfect gifts for the child or children in their care to open on Christmas Day!
There are special Christmas trees with tags in the Gathering Place, on the Kids Ministry landing, and in the Student Center. You will be able to select a tag with the age and gender of the child you would like to shop for, 0-18 years old, and return the gift to Pulpit Rock Church by December 14th.
Alternatively, you can provide a gift to a child in foster care using Hope & Home’s Amazon wish list. Once an item is placed in your cart, you will be able to proceed to checkout and select to send items directly to Hope & Home!
