A New Phase for Women’s Ministry

biblestudyThe Women’s Ministry Leadership Team is excited to introduce you to the next generation of Women’s Ministry at Pulpit Rock!

We have chosen to use the IF Ministry model to guide our Women’s Ministry structure. IF Ministry is an organization led by a team of women who are passionate about knowing God, reading His Word, and helping women in their spiritual journey … the very same values embraced in Pulpit Rock’s Women’s Ministry.

Our new Women’s Ministry will be comprised of four components:

  • Bible Study groups (weekly)
  • IF Table (monthly)
  • Connect (monthly)
  • IF Gathering (annually)

Our goal is to provide different venues where women can study the Word and connect with each other. The days and times of getting together will be determined by the individual groups. This new format allows for more flexibility for the women who wanted to participate but were restricted because they were not available on Tuesday mornings.

Bible Study
One resource for studying the Scriptures is IF Equip. This is an online study led by the IF team of women who provide the instruction of the Scripture passage. The study is posted daily to give individuals the opportunity to study and process, then meet weekly with a group of women for discussion of the material.

We will also have groups who prefer to get together for the more traditional method of Bible Study, using Scripture and/or curriculum.

IF Table
IF Table is a monthly meeting of a group of 6-8 women, coming together for the purpose of a meal and connection through conversation. This time is designed to promote transparency and authenticity with each other.

Connect
We will have a monthly large group community. Mark your calendars …

Our kickoff event is Friday, August 28 from 6:15 – 7:45 pm in the Student Center.

IF Gathering
The yearly IF Gathering will be live streamed here at Pulpit Rock Church. This is a two day event again promoting connection and spiritual development.

Each group will have a facilitator; a woman who is willing to make an investment of time to shepherd a small group of women, either through a Bible Study or by hosting an IF Table.

This is the big picture. There are many details to be addressed before the Fall Ministry Season. Thank you for your prayers.

Please contact me if you are interested in hearing more about facilitating a group in your home, if you are interested in being a part of a group, or if you have any questions.
