Winter Camp 78

“It is always a privilege and pleasure to see God work, but there is something extra special about seeing His Spirit awaken the hearts of young people.  A couple of weeks ago some of our team took a group of 7th and 8th graders to Snowbound, a winter camp with 8 other churches in the mountains.  The weekend was full of fun games, incredible worship and teaching times, and great fellowship.

Each of our students took steps toward Jesus throughout the week and one student said yes to Jesus for the very first time!  Some of the group knew each other going into the weekend, but by the end of the three days, everyone was like family.  Not only did these young people go hard after Jesus and let Him speak to them right where they are, but they also did it together, holding one another up, encouraging each other, crying, laughing, and worshiping together.

Some new life sparked in the hearts of our 7th and 8th graders that weekend and we are so excited to see how God will build on that within their own lives and in our community as they share the love of God with those around them.”
