Honorable Actions

As we continue our sermon series in 1 Peter and read a new passage as a church family each week, we continue learning from the perspectives of others…

Sandy & Vic Ramsey: 1 Peter 2:1 – 3:7

We have really enjoyed the emphasis Pulpit Rock has put on our part in furthering the kingdom of God this year.

It seems to us that the values of the kingdom of God and the kingdom of earth are becoming more polarized all the time. There’s a temptation to join in criticizing and belittling ideas and actions that we disagree with, which usually hinders authentic relationships.

This passage reminds us to keep our conduct among the Gentiles honorable so that they may see our good deeds and glorify God. By doing good deeds and keeping our conduct and words in all relationships honorable, we further the kingdom of God and give Him glory.
