At Love Your Neighbor, we build and deliver bunk beds for anyone in our community who needs a safe place to sleep. Some are children. Some are teens. Some are adults rebuilding their lives. Some are families starting over together. No matter the age or circumstance, the need is the same: a real bed and a real place to rest.
A bed frame alone isn’t enough. A mattress, bedding set, pillow, and protector turn that frame into a place of comfort, warmth, and dignity. When our team walks into a home with a freshly built bunk bed, we don’t stop at the woodwork. We finish the bed completely because everyone deserves to feel cared for in the place where they lay their head.
This is why our September Bedding Drive matters so deeply.
Requests for beds continue to grow, and our bedding shelves empty quickly. Every donation we receive goes directly into a home where someone has been waiting for a safe place to sleep. Sometimes it’s a child who has never had a bed of their own. Sometimes it’s an adult transitioning out of homelessness. Sometimes it’s a family trying to stabilize after a crisis. Bedding is the finishing touch that communicates, “You are seen. You are known. You are loved.”
