I have a rare autoimmune disorder and am largely confined to my home. Among other things, I battle crippling chronic muscle cramps that define every minute of every day. Yesterday I accomplished 2 things – I took a shower and got my laptop set up in the living room so I could “have church” by streaming your podcast. What a blessing your podcast was to me today! (I know I’m a couple of weeks behind but I wanted to start at the beginning of the series.) Anyway, I learned something today – I learned that my depression is borne out of losing the ability to “worship” through working. I have always been a bit of a work-aholic and I guess I have always based my identity on my work. It has always been my joy to work at every task as if working for Christ. But now…I feel I have nothing to offer. I am learning to see my identity in Christ. But that’s…a process. Anyway, thank you for this sermon. You have really given me some good food for thought. God bless!

Pamela, Thank you for sharing some of your journey! You are not alone in that process. We are praying for you this week!
