  1. I have a rare autoimmune disorder and am largely confined to my home. Among other things, I battle crippling chronic muscle cramps that define every minute of every day. Yesterday I accomplished 2 things – I took a shower and got my laptop set up in the living room so I could “have church” by streaming your podcast. What a blessing your podcast was to me today! (I know I’m a couple of weeks behind but I wanted to start at the beginning of the series.) Anyway, I learned something today – I learned that my depression is borne out of losing the ability to “worship” through working. I have always been a bit of a work-aholic and I guess I have always based my identity on my work. It has always been my joy to work at every task as if working for Christ. But now…I feel I have nothing to offer. I am learning to see my identity in Christ. But that’s…a process. Anyway, thank you for this sermon. You have really given me some good food for thought. God bless!
