What do you do at Pulpit Rock?
I am the Director (Commander) of the AWANA program at Pulpit Rock. My job is to oversee the training and equipping of volunteers in the AWANA program. I also work in a support role in reaching kids for Christ by the directing and running of the program at Pulpit Rock.
What did you do before you joined our staff?
When not working at Pulpit Rock, I enjoy working at the Y, volunteering at my childrens’ school and pouring into the lives of men and women with unplanned pregnancies at Life Network.
An interesting thing about you is…
I grew up being a professional hula dancer as a child. I also went on a mission trip to Moldova in college and am credited for giving an imprisoned man back his hearing after 10 years of deafness (I medically cleaned his ears).
What do you like to do in your free time?
I love to read, spend time outside and hang out with my family (bike rides, games, going on walks, etc.). I find deep connection in baking, hosting others in my home and time with friends over a good meal.
