Why do we love preparing and serving communion at Pulpit Rock?
Michael and I feel deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve on the Communion Team at our church.
We were looking for an easy way to start serving and getting to know others. In time we realized that preparing communion for the congregation was more spiritually nourishing then we could have ever imagined. The simple act of prepping the communion table was teaching us about the importance of sharing a table with God and his children. On these special days we feel more connected with the Lord and his sacrifice for us.
Being of service is an important part of our faith—it helps us stay connected and build relationships within our church community. If you’ve ever thought about getting more involved, we encourage you to take that step. Serving in this way not only fosters a sense of connection but can also open the door to even more opportunities to grow in faith and fellowship.
