We’re excited to share some updates from Leku Keta Kale Heywett Church, our church partners in Ethiopia!
You’ll remember that last summer, Leku Keta’s church leaders came up with a business plan to generate income for the expenses in their church and school! These 129 sq. ft. shops near the edge of their property will serve as shops for the community and become a long-term financial solution. Learn more about this project here.
Because of your generosity, Pulpit Rock had the opportunity to provide Leku Keta with the funds needed to make this project happen!
The church leaders faced challenges with the war in Tigray, covid, and the rising cost of construction items. But we are excited to announce that in the last month, they have been putting the finishing touches on the building that will house the shops!
