Community for Young Adults
Over the past several months it has been clear that God has been bringing young adults to Pulpit Rock. With the UCCS campus right next door and Colorado Springs being an incredible place to live and work, we want this place to feel like home and to make space for connections and community to happen.

While debate rages around our country, one thing we know is that children need a safe place to sleep. At Pulpit Rock, we don’t just talk about changing our world, we actually do it. In this case, that means meeting the needs of children in foster care in Colorado Springs. We proudly bring you: The Bunkbed Project.
Sports Camp is Coming in 4 Days!
5 days. 98 kids. 71 volunteers. 23 middle schoolers. 5 foster kids. 11 kids from other churches. 11 scholarships funded. 1 surfboard. Next week is gonna be EPIC!

In the last few years, the Lord has shifted my heart into a place that is learning how to receive words from Him that are just for me. Words, books, stories and lyrics all meet a deep place in me where I feel my most created self when around them.

AWANA: Mayhem and Ministry
Wednesday nights you will find our building stuffed to the brim, overflowing with hundreds of children and all that includes: laughter, competition, shouting, crafts, games and general mayhem. But AWANA is about SO MUCH MORE than this.

So you know that this summer Thomas is taking a sabbatical. But in case you are anxious about what we’ll do without him around, we’d like to put your mind at ease. No, scratch that. WE WANT TO GET YOU EXCITED!
Taste and See
Like a father grilling steaks in the backyard, God was leaning over, wearing His “BEST DAD EVER” barbecue apron, to give us a warm, sizzling taste of the amazing meal He has waiting. This was a taste of what is to come, and we didn’t know it then, but we would be getting tastes like that all week.
This can’t be the end.
I gave up EVERYTHING I KNEW for you. For this idea that you were the ONE. And now you’re gone. And I have nothing. No home. No place to live. And you’re dead and I’m left here wondering if everything I hoped for – everything I believed about you – was a lie.
My First Ever Sabbatical
Jesus said that what’s inside that matters most. And whatever is inside of us eventually comes out. Nowhere is this more obvious than in church leadership. Cultivating a healthy heart is one of the most important things a pastor can do, and God designed rest to be a central discipline for that cultivation. This summer we are giving Thomas the gift of rest.
