Well, then. Clearly that calls for celebration.
When a child has a birthday party to celebrate the day he was born, it is a day of rejoicing. He is reminded of your love and acceptance of him.
At Pulpit Rock, we believe is important to also celebrate the day your child is born into God’s family. It also is a day of rejoicing! He is reminded of God’s love and acceptance him.
We in Children’s Ministry would love to partner with you to celebrate your child’s spiritual birthday together!
At the beginning of each year, we have a party to celebrate children who have become Christ followers the previous year. If your child made a decision to become a Christ follower sometime during 2014, or earlier and if we have not yet celebrated with you, we welcome your child and YOU to come to our “God’s Family Birthday Party”.
We will celebrate your child’s spiritual birthday by talking about what his eternity will look like in heaven. We will do fun activities and crafts that remind us how we should live now that we are Christ followers.
And of course, what is a birthday party without cake and ice cream?
The party will be Sunday, February 22nd. We are excited to celebrate your child’s entry into the family of God!
So here are the important details:
- We ask that at least one parent come with his child to experience this celebration together.
- You must make a reservation to attend this party.
- RSVP to Bonnie Aldrich, children’s pastor.
