Hello Church Family,
We want to invite you to serve with us this year on October 4th and 5th at CityServe with COSILoveYou. This year, we will be serving alongside our friends and partners from Panorama Middle School and The Redemption Project. There will be nearly 100 volunteer opportunities across the Pikes Peak region, and as a church, we love joining our friends at COSILoveYou during this special weekend to help our community and neighbors transform our city by loving and serving one another.
Serve at Panorama Middle School:
- Project Date: Saturday, October 5
- Timeframe: 9:00 AM-Noon
- Address: 2145 S. Chelton Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80916
- What to expect at this project: Volunteers will be helping spruce up the grounds – Pulling weeds, Re-painting crosswalks, Painting walls
- What to bring: Gloves, shovels, garbage bags, water bottles
- What to wear: Comfortable clothing for the weather and for painting
- Parking: Please park in the school lot
- Where to meet: In the cafeteria
Serve at The Redemption Project:
- Project Date: Saturday, October 5
- Timeframe: 9:00 AM-Noon
- Address: 1647 S Nevada Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80905
- What to expect at this project: Volunteers will be assisting with outdoor maintenance – power washing carports, building a prayer corner, and landscaping.
- What to bring: Water bottle, sunscreen, and if you have these – large shop brooms, large shovels/metal rakes, cleaning supplies (brooms, mops, buckets, cleaning solutions), heavy-duty trash bags, extension cords, safety equipment (gloves, safety glasses, masks)
- What to wear: Closed-toe shoes and clothing appropriate for working
- Parking: Parking is available on the property
- Where to meet: In front of the property – in front of the garage
