Established in August 2018, Expressions3Studio is a volunteer run program that offers a safe space to create, express, and just be. It's not about being an amazing artist, it's about using art as a means to express, create, and find freedom.
Seen. Known. Loved.
There are times that fears, wounds, anxiety, depression, doubts, and busyness can cause us to suppress our words, pain and desires. We were born with a need to be seen, known and loved. That's why we've created a space for your soul to breathe as you express, create and connect.
Who is behind Expressions3 Studio?
[photo]Expressions3 is the brainchild of Cindy Limbrick, Pulpit Rock’s Associate Pastor of Creative Expressions. Cindy is passionate about using creative expression as a way to connect people with God and with each other.
What is the connection with Springs Rescue Mission?
We are excited about our growing partnership with Springs Rescue Mission. Every Wednesday afternoon, a team of volunteers set up a temporary studio with various art supplies in the middle of homelessness at Springs Rescue Mission to create with Guest Artists who are visiting for the day or staying for the night.
We are currently building a team of volunteers. We're looking for discerning people with a heart to serve. (You don't have to be an artist to be involved with this opportunity.) We need people to welcome the Guest Artists, set up the art supplies, and serve by refreshing paint cups, getting additional supplies, assisting with any questions, and being present and available.
Want to get involved?
Great! An application and background check will be required to volunteer at this studio. Training will also be provided.
