PRiSM: Back and Forward

Fall is nearly here! What a unique time of year this is in Ministry here at Pulpit Rock Church.
Especially in Student Ministry.

We are looking BACK and celebrating what a great summer we had, and looking FORWARD to great plans that are in store.

Looking Back

One of our biggest summer celebrations was our Wednesday night high school Bible study, Greenhouse. We focused our attention for the summer on growing where we are planted … learning, studying and bonding as part of the body at Pulpit Rock.

Our students focus on growing where they are planted.

We spent an hour each week just messing around …
Werewolf. Mafia. Pictionary. Frisbee. Cereal. Popcorn.

You get the idea. Just bonding.

Then for the remaining hour, we broke into small groups of guys and girls to study God’s Word. Specifically, the book of Acts and the model of the early church.

It was amazing to spend that time in a small group dynamic to read, ask questions and challenge each other.

It is with that excitement for the small group discipleship environment that we look forward to our Fall semester getting into full swing.

Looking Forward

We are thrilled to announce …
Our middle school and high school small groups will all be here on campus on Wednesday evenings.

Here’s the plan …

6:15 PM – 6:45 PM | Middle school and high school will meet (separately) as large groups for fun and fellowship.
6:45 PM – 7:45 PM | We will break into grade level gender groups and catch up, study, discuss and challenge each other in life’s great moments.

Our goal? To meet students where they are.
Our plan? To start our small groups on Wednesday, September 28th.

We can’t wait.

We have a team of loving, dynamic adults ready to pour into our students, so mark your calendars!
